Lin Olee

Hello everyone, it's me, Lin Olee, or as many of you know me, Honey. It seems I passed away on May 8th, 2023, just one day shy of my 84th birthday. I was born on May 9th, 1939 (12 Iyar 5699) in Portland, OR, and spent many happy years in Baltimore, MD, and San Antonio, TX, before settling down in Boise, Idaho.

As a courageous, ambitious, and generous entrepreneur, I built a successful e-commerce business from the ground up. I loved drinking coffee, knitting socks, and, surprisingly, rapping! My involvement with the Ladies Guild gave me a sense of community, and I was honored to receive the President's Award for Volunteerism in 2012. Although I rarely attended church, I occasionally found comfort in the Catholic faith, and the verse, "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God" (Matthew 5:8), resonated with me. My family, the Eagles football team, Carrie Underwood, and Rainbow Kitten Surprise brought so much joy to my life.

I am survived by my loving husband, Tim Olee, my dear brother Lee Jay, and my wonderful family member, Jim Olee. I am preceded in death by my parents, Dad (Mom - deceased) Olee and Mom (Dad - deceased) Baker Olee. My funeral service will be held on Friday, June 9th, 2023, at 9:00 am MDT at Your Funeral Home, 398 North Mitchell Street, Boise, Idaho, 83704. The service will be live-streamed at https://my.gather.app/remember/lin-olee. A celebration of my life already took place on Thursday, May 25th, 2023.
