Ian Jay

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ian Jay, affectionately known as "Big Joe", on May 2, 2023. Ian was a beloved brother, friend, and community member who leaves an indelible mark on the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. His infectious laughter, love for life, and legendary BBQ skills will be forever remembered by those who were fortunate enough to share in his warmth and generosity.

Ian's passions were many, but foremost among them was his love for the great outdoors. Whether he was expertly skiing down the slopes or grilling up a feast for his friends and family, Ian approached every activity with unmatched enthusiasm and skill. His dedication to his community was evident in his involvement with the Kiwanis Club, where he actively volunteered and made a meaningful impact on the lives of those around him.

Ian is survived by his loving brother, AJ Jay. A funeral service will be held in his honor on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at 10:00 am MDT at Your Funeral Home, located at 398 North Mitchell Street, Boise, Idaho, 83704.
