Boise, Idaho
Well, folks, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it appears I've finally taken that last flight. This is your captain speaking - Crystal Mae Glass, or as many of you knew me, CeCe. I was born back on February 2, 1942, in Decatur, GA, and I've had a wild ride ever since. I've lived in Phoenix, AZ, Montrose, PA, and finally landed in Boise, Idaho - quite the change in climate, I must say. I've had quite the career as a commercial airline pilot, and boy, have I seen some sights! During my downtime, I knitted sweaters for miniature dogs and baked pies that would make your grandma jealous. I even won the Barbie Award in 2023 for my efforts - who knew!
Now, I know some of you may be wondering about my religious involvement. I was a Roman Catholic, although I must admit, I wasn't in the pews every Sunday. As they say, "God helps those who help themselves," and I made sure to help myself to a good life. What mattered most to me were Veterans of Foreign Wars - those brave souls deserve all the support they can get. Now, I don’t want you all to get too mushy over me, but I’ve got a whole gaggle of Sarah Kravitz’s who will miss me - my sister, my daughter, my niece, my mother, a few spouses, a life partner, and even a granddaughter. I was also preceded in death by my parents, Greta and Wayne Glass.
So, for those looking for a good time, come swing by Your Funeral Home at 1020 N. Hickory Ave., Suite 110, Meridian, Idaho, 83642 on Friday, 14 Jun 2024 at 7:00pmEDT. I won't be there in person, but I'll certainly be there in spirit. And hey, don't forget to share your favorite memories and photos of me on the memorial page. I'm sure there are quite a few gems out there. As I've always said, life is a journey, not a destination. Until we meet again, this is Captain Crystal Glass, signing off.
